River Stour - Bounds Farm - Dorset

Approximately 2 miles of river offering good sport throughout the season. Huge Barbel, Chub and Roach are regularly caught from this stretch which connects to the top boundary of Throop. In the Summer months Barbel and Chub can be spotted on the shallower gravel runs by the observant angler.

River Avon - Lower Severals and Avon Castle - Hampshire

A stretch of the Hampshire Avon of approximately 3/4 Mile. The lower Severals stretch starts where the Bickerly millsteam joins the main river. This stretch offers some excellent trotting swims of varying depth. with the bottom boundary meeting the Avon Castle stretch. Avon Castle is far more sheltered than Lower Severals with heavy bankside vegitation throughout. Featured in an episode of Go Fishing with John Wilson, offers excellent Barbel and Chub fishing with some very big Bream reported.

River Avon - Fordingbridge - Hampshire

A short stretch of the Avon of approximately 500 meters. Noted for its big Roach potential but also produces good Dace, Chub and occasional Barbel.

River Avon - Severals - Dorset

A famous stretch of the Hampshire Avon of approximately 2 Miles. Severals starts at the Railway bridge and continues down to the top boundary of Lower Severals (where Bickerley Millstream joins the main river). This stretch offers some excellent trotting, trundling or ledgering swims of varying depth and pace, ideally suited to both a mobile and static approach.

River Avon - Bickerley Millstream - Dorset

Hampshire Avon Side Stream of approximately 2 miles. This stretch of river comes into its own in the winter when the main river is high but the Summer months need not be overlooked. A roving approach with natural baits can offer reasonable Chub action in low clear conditions. Maggot or Bread punch in winter will produce good bags of Roach to over 2lb and Dace to 1lb with odd Chub and occasional Barbel.
