Acorn Carp Fishery
- Somerset
Acorn Carp Fishery officially opened June 2001. The carp lake is approximately 3.5 acres. There are some 550 Carp currently in our lake. Around 300 doubles, 200 mid doubles, 30 high doubles, and the remainder 20s up to 30lb at the moment. The lake is usually netted each year and all the small carp are collected and stocked into the smaller stock pond.

Owner Keith Hill dug the first lakes, Moorhen and Heron, in 1990, started work on Canals One and Two eight years later to cater for the increasing demand for match angling, and dug Canals Three and Four in 2000.
Holly Farm Fishery
