Acorn Carp Fishery officially opened June 2001. The carp lake is approximately 3.5 acres. There are some 550 Carp currently in our lake. Around 300 doubles, 200 mid doubles, 30 high doubles, and the remainder 20s up to 30lb at the moment. The lake is usually netted each year and all the small carp are collected and stocked into the smaller stock pond.
There are three lakes all fed by spring water on the land. Each lake has its own islands which provide plenty of pockets of fish which are within easy casting from the margins. The depths of the lakes vary between 2ft at the edges to over 14ft in the deepest parts. All the lakes are easily accessible and all the pegs are a generous size to enable the angler to set up equipment comfortably. There is space behind most of the pegs to accommodate shelters for when night fishing is available.
The Alderfen complex consists of three lakes and a smaller pond. It is situated at Wroot, North Lincs., and is within easy reach of South and West Yorks., Humberside and the East Midlands, being close to the M62, M18, M180 and A1.
Recently under new management, this fishery has 4 pools: Horseshoe Lake, Arrow Lake, House Pool and Harrys Pool.

Angel of the North Fishing Lakes is a premier fishing complex of beautiful carp and coarse fishing lakes, in County Durham, near Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. Bradshaw Hall Fisheries is a commercial coarse-fishery with the aim of promoting the benefits of angling as a peaceful and relaxing sport. All eight lakes are of historical importance as they were originally formed as features of the medieval Manor of Bradshaw dating from the 12th century, and then later extended to serve Hardcastles Textile Mill that ceased operation in 1963. The present day lakes have been improved and developed into a first class leisure facility. Ed and Jane Brown started work on the fishery in 1992. A lot of the visitors to Furnace Mill Fishery cannot believe that it has not been around a lot longer than that. Ed spends many hours maintaining the facilities for the anglers but also the local wildlife. He is also a very experienced all-round angler.

Monk Lakes is a 120-acre fishery on the A229 just outside Maidstone in Kent, that encompasses all that is great about angling in Britain.
The four fishing lakes total approximately 10 acres. They are all very well managed, very tidy and are heavily stocked. There is ample close by parking, toilets and drinking water.
Nineoaks Fishing and holiday complex comprises of a purpose built Angling and Holiday centre with Trout and Coarse Fishing lakes plus first class holiday cottage accommodation and static Caravans. There are 6 pools:- three Fly only Trout pools of about a half acre each stocked with Rainbows and Blues from 2lb to 7lb plus a small head of Tiger Trout and 3 mixed fishing Coarse lakes. Partridge Lakes Fishery is set over 50 acres of Cheshire Countryside with 14 waters, all individually and uniquely designed, to offer superb coarse fishing throughout the year.
There are two lakes that cater for both the pleasure and match anglers with a total of 120 pegs. One lake is for the pleasure angler and are not targeted for large or single species. Where as there are carp to 25lbs there is a lot of other smaller species with many specimens so a truly great day can be had by all.

Shillinglee Fisheries on the Surrey / Sussex border consists of five ponds, the main lake a beautiful spring fed lake of approximately 6.5 Acres in size with lots of natural features and wildlife. The fishery has been run as a day ticket water since 1995 and prior to that it was run as an exclusive syndicate water.
Spring Lea is a series of five pools, offering great day ticket coarse fishing. The pools are well stocked with hard fighting carp and a wide range of other species. This offers a range of angling to suit everyone from the experienced angler, who can set their sights on one of the 20 lb plus carp, to beginners, children and those who are returning to angling after some years away.
Springwood Fisheries has 2 uniquely designed naturally spring-fed fishing lakes, and is situated on the edge of the National Forest. The site was opened in 2001, and the lakes are now well established and provide excellent angling facilities for all abilities.
The fishing lakes are open from 7am each morning until dusk. Resident campers and members may begin fishing at 6am during the summer months when the mornings are lighter. Day tickets can be obtained from the chalet or the bailiff who will make several visits during the day. The fishery rules can be viewed on the large notice board in the car park, on the web site and also on the back of all fishing permits.
All four lakes are heavily stocked with coarse fish, three of them have Carp over 25lb, Tench, Rudd, Roach and Perch being the prominent species. The other lake is ideal for match and pole fishing. All the lakes are in pleasant landscaped surroundings.
Temple Farm has its own fishing pool on site which is open from dawn til dusk all year round. The pond contains gudgeon, bream, roach and carp. The cost for a day ticket is from £5 to £7 depending on season. Night fishing is not permitted.
The Old Mill Fishery is located one mile from Yeovil on the Somerset/Dorset border. The Fishery has 4 well-stocked lakes and a quarter mile stretch of very slow-moving river – all set in a tranquil 16 acre site. The fishery was developed 10 years ago and is now well established.
