Argal Reservoir is a well established coarse fishery stocked with numerous big carp and pike over 30lb, bream over 15lb, roach and rudd transferred from the former College fishery which is now a nature reserve. The lake record carp is 42lb 8oz and the water has been re-stocked during 2009 with a good number of carp.
The site also has public lavatories including provision for disabled visitors, a children's play area and picnic tables.
