Morton Pond is set amongst the beautiful, secluded landscape of the wider Queensberry Estate in the shadow of the Lowther Hills and close to the ruins of Morton Castle, an early stronghold of the Douglases.
Stocked with Tench, it is a well-established coarse fishing loch and very popular with regular fishers and visitors to the area.
