There are three lakes all fed by spring water on the land. Each lake has its own islands which provide plenty of pockets of fish which are within easy casting from the margins. The depths of the lakes vary between 2ft at the edges to over 14ft in the deepest parts. All the lakes are easily accessible and all the pegs are a generous size to enable the angler to set up equipment comfortably. There is space behind most of the pegs to accommodate shelters for when night fishing is available.
On the lower match lake there is disabled access to two of the pegs.
These pegs can be pre-booked if required. We have a good range of coarse fish, including mirror, crucian,
ghost and common carp, tench, bream, golden rudd and some good sized
perch. A good number of the carp are in double figures and provide
for some exciting fishing.
We welcome all levels and skills of angling to our lakes and we can
provide professional tuition if required. We are lucky to have access
to one of the very few qualified angling coaches in the West
Country, Andrew Dean, and he can be pre-booked for lessons for the
amateur angler or for expert tips for the more experienced
fisherman. We have plenty of parking close to the lakes.
