Homeclose Fishery is set in the beautiful countryside of Rutland, the smallest county in England. Homeclose Fishery consists of four lakes aimed at the pleasure angler who holds to the more traditional values of fishing.

Hornbeam Lake
Of the four lakes (Hornbeam, Ash, Buckthorn and Sallow) Hornbeam is the biggest, lined with reeds along the marginal shelf which runs the entire perimeter of the lake it makes for great marginal Crucian or Rudd fishing. Several lily beds allow for some classic Tench fishing and along with two underwater islands/bars some real rod bending feeder fishing can be had for Bream. At 3 acres it suits its self to specimen fishing, stocked with Bream up to 8lb, Tench to 5lb, classic Rudd to 2lb and some hard fighting Crucian Carp to 2lb, it is the perfect lake for those anglers looking for the bigger fish.

Ash Lake
Ash lake is one of the smallest at only an acre, but don't be deceived by its size, it holds alot ofcharacter and with its stocks of Tench, Crucian Carp, Golden Orfe and Bream it aims to keep the angler looking for a classic pleasure fishing lake satisfied, and with numerous lily beds and a totally reed lined bank it's the perfect place to while away a few hours fishing.

Buckthorn Lake
Buckthorn lake is just over an acre in size and has been built for the angler looking for some fantastic carp fishing, whether it's close in along the marginal reeds that surround the lake or under the young overhanging willow trees, you could find yourself catching Common Carp, Bream, Rudd and as of next winter some great Perch fishing!

Sallow Lake
Sallow lake is just over an acre in size and has been built for the angler looking for some classic Carp, Tench, Orfe and Bream fishing, whether it's float fishing next to the lilies or feeder fishing to the underwater island, you can be assured a great session!
