Pasture House Fisheries has 2 separate lakes covering 8.4 acres. We operate a day ticket fishery from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. Prices for day tickets are now £5 for 1 rod and £7 for 2 rods. We are available for club matches and operate some open matches throughout the year.

Main Lake
To the right of the track which runs the length of the venue, is the Main Lake which is 5.9 acres in size. It has 46 fishing pegs available with a path linking them all. Depths vary from 5ft up to over 20ft at the north end, pegs 17 to 29.

Bream are the most common species in this lake, with specimens being caught over 10lbs. Worm and caster on a grounbait feeder normally catches the bream in this lake. Roach and Ide go to 2lbs plus and are readily found in the deeps fishing pole with maggot or caster.
The larger carp tend to be in this large expanse of water, with some present over 35lbs and hundreds over the 10lb mark. These can be caught on most methods and baits, but fusion boilies have had most success.

There is also a good number of tench in the lake with 6lb fish common. In the summer months good nets of fish are common, with match weight regularly topping 100lbs and pleasure catches much higher. With so many fish in the lake though, this weight will increase each year.

Neck Lake
A wooden bridge links the Main lake at the southern end to a lake of 1.3 acres called The Neck. The Neck has an average depth of around 4ft and the big fish tend to breed in this area. There are 20 marked fishing pegs, 9 on one side with 11 on the other and at the southern end in front of the Holiday Cabins there are a further 7 double pegs exclusively for the Cabin residents.

This pond is solid with fish, including carp, tench, bream, roach, ide, rudd and barbel. The favoured method is the pole, although you'll need a strong one! Matches have been frequently won with over 100lbs and pleasure catches regularly exceed this. Plenty of bites are guaranteed. This lake is also a great club match venue, even in winter.
