The Old Mill Fishery is located one mile from Yeovil on the Somerset/Dorset border. The Fishery has 4 well-stocked lakes and a quarter mile stretch of very slow-moving river – all set in a tranquil 16 acre site. The fishery was developed 10 years ago and is now well established.
West Lake
The largest of the 4 lakes and is stocked with carp up to 10lb, bream up to 4lb, tench to 4lb, ide to 4lb plus roach and rudd. 5 hour match record on West lake = 114lb.
South Lake
Stocked with carp to 12lb, bream to 3lb, ide to 3lb, tench to 4lb, barbel to 3lb plus roach, rudd, golden orfe, gudgeon, etc. 3 hour match record on South lake = 84lb
East Lake
Carp (20lb+) on the venue are contained in this lake. It is also stocked with bream and roach. Night fishing is avaliable by arrangement
North Lake
Mainly stocked with carp to 4lb, bream to 4lb, roach to 2lb, ide to 2lb, barbel to 2lb, etc.
River
Stocked with bream, roach, barbel, dace, chub, tench, etc. 5 hour match record on the River = 38lb.
