A 12 acre lake set in the New Forest historically known for its huge Bream (well into double figures) but more recently renowned for its Carp and Tench fishing. Carp well into double figures are caught regularly with fish to near 40lb reported. Good bags of Tench and Bream are commonplace throughout the Summer months.

DDAS now have exclusive use of the new, 2.5 acre LODGE LAKE’ (adjacent to the lodge on the left as you turn into the farmyard). This is in place of the original lake at the bottom end of the complex, which is now a specimen lake.

This 32 peg 3.5 acre lake was original dug as a irrigation reservoir for the local agricultural industry over 15 years ago, and later turned into a fishery. High Flyer Lake has evolved into one of Cambridgeshire’s top premier fisheries, accounting for some of the biggest match and pleasure catch weights in the country. The carp are in pristine condition and run to nearly 20lb. The roach catches are superb with fish to 1lb plus.

A Gravel pit of approximately 22 acres with depths up to 13 feet. The pit is surrounded by mature trees and foliage and has an island of approximately 4 acres in the middle. Hightown is our premier Carp venue with fish to just over 40lb now being caught. It is also a good bagging venue with a very large head of Bream, Roach and Tench. There are some very large Crucian Carp but these are hard to come by.

Superb fishing, beautiful background and peaceful surroundings with three lakes at Hunstrete; close to Bristol, Bath and Keynsham. The two newest lakes – Withy and Bridge Pools – were established with the help of a substantial Lottery Grant and, thanks to the magnificent efforts of a hard-core of club members – they both have a natural appearance and have a reputation for some of the best fishing in the area. Over 2000 trees were planted on the slopes overlooking the lakes adding to the overall effect.

With a national reputation for its carp fishing Jennetts is also a popular competition venue. Known as a ‘runs water it holds carp to 30lb which can be caught off the bottom or top. Tench to 8lb, bream to 10lb and perch to 4lb are also present. It also produces quality bags of smaller carp, roach, tench and skimmers to the float, pole and feeder.

Approximately 20 acres, heavily weeded with depths of up to 12 feet. Linbrook has gained a reputation as one of the countries top Tench fisheries, producing many double figure fish each year. It has also produced huge bream (12lb+) and Carp (38lb+). It also contains some enormous Rudd but these can be extremely difficult to find.

The lake has been established for over thirty years and is situated in a quiet and beautiful location, tucked out of the way so that it is only fished by a few locals and visitors who seek it out. Extending to well over an acre the lake has well-developed marginal growth as well as an island at the northern end and two strong areas of lilies providing abundant plant growth to give both food and cover for the fish.
