The water is a 6.7 acre reservoir which is a very basic looking pit, but is rough dug. It is a clay line water which has a lot of bloodworm and some nature weed. And there are no hotspots, you bait a area they will feed, the middle of the reservoir is 40ft so other anglers will not cast across your swim, its approx 200 metres at the narrowest point.
Higher Farm Coarse Fishery consists of three well stocked fishing lakes with 30 fishing stands in all. The lakes are stocked with mainly common, mirror and ghost carp, some of which are double figured. There are also rudd, roach, bream and tench.
We have eight lakes available for fishing - each amply stocked with mirror, common and ghost carp, as well as a native population of tench, chub and perch.
We have two coarse fishing lakes, Admiral lake and Ponder lake. Each lake extends to over an acre and both are nestled within grounds teeming with wildlife. It is quite simply a wonderful place to unwind, relax and enjoy! Both lakes are stocked with various species, Roach and Rudd, as well as Common and Mirror Carp in upper doubles.
Two established and sheltered spring-fed lakes well stocked with plenty of strains and sizes of carp to 12lbs, also lots of roach, rudd and goldfish. Located in a secluded valley and the perfect place to relax and reflect away from the hustle and bustle. Enjoy the tranquil Dorset countryside and view the wonderful wildlife at first hand. You may see our two kingfishers or the regular heron visitor and fox, rabbit, and deer if you are really quiet! We have identified 4 species of bat that feed near the water at night-time.
Hillview Lakes offers a total of five acres of water on an eight acre site. The two lakes and four canals are set in attractive countryside with an abundance of wildlife on and around them. Owner Keith Hill dug the first lakes, Moorhen and Heron, in 1990, started work on Canals One and Two eight years later to cater for the increasing demand for match angling, and dug Canals Three and Four in 2000.
Holly Farm is arguably the biggest and best stillwater fishery complex in South Leicestershire. With three lakes and in excess of 100 pegs in total, we cater for all anglers of all abilities and offer superb sport in a rural setting.
Holmston Hall offers 3 well stocked fishing pools, suitable for anglers of all abilities. There is no closed season.

Lavender Hall Premier Fishery near Berkswell Station in Balsall Common, Solihull, has been a popular venue since it first opened in 1998. Things are set to get even better in 2007 following improvement work which will benefit anglers of all abilities and disciplines. The Specimen Pool holds carp to over 30lbs whilst the other four lakes have been restocked. The main lake at Mill Farm Fishery was originally an old sand and gravel pit that filled up with water when a spring was disturbed in the bottom. Over the years it has been stocked with Tench, Bream, Roach, Mirror Carp, Leather Carp, Crucian Carp, Grass Carp and Chub. The lake has become very popular with anglers from all over the Midlands and from farther afield. The lake is stocked regularly and good sized fish including carp of 10 – 20lbs are abundant.

Moorlands is recognised as one of the premier fishing venues in the country as illustrated by the fact that it hosts pestigious events such as the Kamasan British Open, Drennan All Winners Final, Fish-O-Mania, Angling Times / Maiver Pairs Challenge and NFA Nationals. Situated on a 10 acre site Moorlands offers 200 pegs on a total of ten pools varying in sizes. To ensure that competitors taking part in the matches stand the same chance of catching wherever they fish, all the pools have been developed to the same depths and uniform stocking policy has been implemented to ensure that each pool carries the same density and proportion of fish species. Facilities include ample free car parking (anglers being able to park behind most pegs), 120 seater licensed café which serves a wide range of meals, snacks and refreshments.

The four fishing lakes total approximately 10 acres. They are all very well managed, very tidy and are heavily stocked. There is ample close by parking, toilets and drinking water.
Nineoaks Fishing and holiday complex comprises of a purpose built Angling and Holiday centre with Trout and Coarse Fishing lakes plus first class holiday cottage accommodation and static Caravans. There are 6 pools:- three Fly only Trout pools of about a half acre each stocked with Rainbows and Blues from 2lb to 7lb plus a small head of Tiger Trout and 3 mixed fishing Coarse lakes. Partridge Lakes Fishery is set over 50 acres of Cheshire Countryside with 14 waters, all individually and uniquely designed, to offer superb coarse fishing throughout the year.
There are two lakes that cater for both the pleasure and match anglers with a total of 120 pegs. One lake is for the pleasure angler and are not targeted for large or single species. Where as there are carp to 25lbs there is a lot of other smaller species with many specimens so a truly great day can be had by all.
Here at Payvotts Mill we strive to create one of the UKs best carp fisheries. With all the onsite facilities you could wish for from lake side huts with beds and chairs to microwaves fridges and toilets The complex consists of five lakes with the largest lake being around eight acres and stocked with carp to 33lb (more fish to follow).

This is excellent pleasure fishing for both adults and youngsters on quiet secluded waters all adjoining and only 50 metres from the holiday cottages and the fishing lodge. Anglers are required to register, pay and disinfect their nets at the fishing lodge before going to the lakes. (No keep nets except for matches.)
Plantation Lakes opened in 1994. The complex has three lakes open at the moment and all are all heavily stocked with a wide variety of coarse fish. The coarse and carp lakes were dug in the summer of 1994 and opened for fishing the following November. The match or horseshoe lake as it is also known was dug in the autumn of 1999 and opened for fishing in February 2000.

Shillinglee Fisheries on the Surrey / Sussex border consists of five ponds, the main lake a beautiful spring fed lake of approximately 6.5 Acres in size with lots of natural features and wildlife. Springwood Fisheries has 2 uniquely designed naturally spring-fed fishing lakes, and is situated on the edge of the National Forest. The site was opened in 2001, and the lakes are now well established and provide excellent angling facilities for all abilities.
Set on 24 acres of of the most beautiful and interesting parts of Somerset. We are proud to be a registered county wildlife site. Sumerhayes fisheries has 6 well maintained ponds with up to 105 swims. All ponds are well stocked with carp, tench, perch, bream, roach, rudd and chub.
The fishing lakes are open from 7am each morning until dusk. Resident campers and members may begin fishing at 6am during the summer months when the mornings are lighter. Day tickets can be obtained from the chalet or the bailiff who will make several visits during the day. The fishery rules can be viewed on the large notice board in the car park, on the web site and also on the back of all fishing permits.
All four lakes are heavily stocked with coarse fish, three of them have Carp over 25lb, Tench, Rudd, Roach and Perch being the prominent species. The other lake is ideal for match and pole fishing. All the lakes are in pleasant landscaped surroundings.
The 7 lakes set on the edge of the Sheffield forest cater for most styles and ability of angling and can offer something for everyone. All lakes have been constructed with the angler and wildlife in mind and have been planted with water plants of all varieties shapes and sizes to give an aesthetically pleasing look. The grounds of the fishery are treated as a garden with short cropped grass, all lakes have car parks by them so only a short walk is needed to get to any peg. The fishery facilities are of a high standard with ladies and gents toilets being of modern clean design, a washing up room is also available.
Taswood is unique in that we offer excellent specimen carp fishing as well as superb sport for the traditional coarse angler. The taswood fishery is in its 30th year and is growing rapidly. With its unique fishing and tranquil setting, its the perfect day or holiday for any angler. The complex comprises of eleven lakes beside the River Tas in the heart of Norfolk and offers the best coarse and carp fishing available on a day ticket in the region.
Temple Farm has its own fishing pool on site which is open from dawn til dusk all year round. The pond contains gudgeon, bream, roach and carp. The cost for a day ticket is from £5 to £7 depending on season. Night fishing is not permitted.
The Monument in terms of a fishery is nothing short of phenomenal. The growth and condition of the fish is incredible with many fish growing in weight by up to 7lb last season. The Monument as of today has over 300 fish of which 294 are original stock that are still only 8 years old. Now we also have an unknown quantity of magnificent 3 year old fish weighing between 8lb-16lb, these are mainly deep bodied commons. My guess is there are at least 40 of these young fish present.
The Old Mill Fishery is located one mile from Yeovil on the Somerset/Dorset border. The Fishery has 4 well-stocked lakes and a quarter mile stretch of very slow-moving river – all set in a tranquil 16 acre site. The fishery was developed 10 years ago and is now well established.
We are a family run three-lake fishery with nine static holiday caravans to the east of Bridgwater. The lakes all contain a good mixture of carp and silvers. Carp up to 20lb, bream and tench up to 5lb, roach, rudd and perch up to 1lb. Pellet and paste work well in the summer on all three lakes. Winter fishing is also good (50lb plus bags are common) providing you scale down the tackle and bait size. Worm, maggot sweetcorn and soft pellet are working well.

The Fishery is situated in Chertsey, Surrey and is based on the site of an old gravel works that were excavated in the 70s. Left to mature on their own for a number of years they have since the late 80s been landscaped and developed into the complex we have today.
The lake is a four and a half acre natural mill pond which is stocked with a large selection of fish over 40 pegs.

The fishery owes it’s origins to the 1960’s when thousands of carp, tench and bream were introduced into the lakes. At 7.5 acres, the Specimen Pool has 14 well spaced pegs which are all on one bank (see map), and much of the far bank is protected by tree cover and snags. All the pegs are clearly marked and purpose built, and finished with bark and chip.
The souths premier carp and catfish venue. WINTONS operates a booking system and everybody must follow the same Rules. Once you have become a Member of the Fishery, you are issued with a Membership Card with a unique number. Bookings can be made up to 6.00 pm on the phone or in person while the office is open.
All Woodland View pools are stocked with the following species: Mirror carp, common carp, ghost carp, crucians, tench, bream, roach, rudd, barbel, chub, perch, golden orfe and eels.
Wyreside Fisheries is a 4.5. acre lake, situated alongside the River Wyre, 15 minutes from the M6, from Preston and from Lancaster as well as being just 15 minutes from Blackpool. The lake is well matured, set in a peaceful location with abundant wildlife.
